Lavonna is a contemporary jazz singer who has also lived many of the songs in her repertoire. In prior concerts, audience members have enthusiastically commented on how strongly Lavonna conveys the emotions in her songs. Lavonna's voice contains elements of Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Bette Midler, Sade, Madonna,and Karen Carpenter. But you won't hear only standards, Lavonna is an accomplished composer of original jazz and will be performing her own compositions as well.
She will be accompanied by the extraordinary jazz pianist, Craig Bidondo.
